Supporting the ID Community:
A Job Aid Design

Problem

Many instructional designers struggle with showcasing their projects effectively on portfolio websites due to technical barriers in hosting. To solve this problem, I designed an instructional guide that provides a quick and easy way for instructional designers to publish their Articulate projects on AWS.

Solution

This guide walks users through the entire hosting process, from exporting their projects in Articulate  to uploading and making them publicly accessible via Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3. By following these clear, step-by-step instructions, instructional designers can ensure their work remains accessible, polished, and professionally presented to clients, stakeholders, and potential employers—without needing advanced technical knowledge.

Instructional Goal

My goal was to simplify the process and remove the common roadblocks designers face when trying to share their work online. This guide serves as a practical solution that empowers designers to maintain a strong, independent online presence without relying on temporary hosting services.
